New Version of the Wishlist Member API Coming in 2011

It was announced at the Wishlist Member Live event in Las Vegas that a brand new version of the Wishlist Member API is currently in development and is slated for public release somewhere around the beginning of the second quarter 2011.

Having seen fist hand some of the new functionality, I am happy to say the new functionality that will be available in version 2 of the API is very exciting indeed. The new function calls will allow even more 3rd party development that will extend the already feature rich offering of the Wishlist Member membership software.

New Version of WishList Member Due Nov 1st

Our sources tell us that a new version of WishList Member is due in just 10 days time on Nov 1st 2010. We’re keeping our sources confidential at this point, however we can tell you that new features will be released that include major updates to the WishList Member API (application programming interface).

It is also rumored that native integration for Premium Web Cart will also be released. Premium Web Cart is being referred to as the “1ShoppingCart Killer” – especially since 1SC suffered a major outage 2 weeks ago that crippled the businesses of ALL of it’s customers.

Sneak Peak of New Wishlist Member Features

The new version of Wishlist Member is scheduled to be released about July 1st, 2010. Stu McLaren and Tracy Childers have been keeping a close lid on the new features that will be enhancing our membership sites soon.

We’re pleased to reveal that due to a super secret special contact, we have some news on some exciting new features:

First off, is the ability to backup your Wishlist Member settings. This includes all of your membership levels, error page settings, sequential content delivery – everything. You will have the ability to Backup and Restore settings, as well as Import settings from one membership site into another.
